Putting Your Gifts to Work

In an effort to provide a coordinated philanthropic response to the COVID-19 health crisis, the Door County Community Foundation and the United Way of Door County activated the Door County Emergency Response Fund in March 2020 and launched other response efforts (such as www.FeedDoorCounty.org and www.RentReliefDoorCounty.org).
Two years later, in March 2022, the CDC and Door County Public Health announced the easing of the final restrictions on our community. As a result, we have begun winding down the Fund. Applications for assistance are no longer being accepted. However, if your organization plays a key role in our community and is facing a critical need, please reach out to us at (920) 746-1786 and we will do our best to see what we can do to help.
The final distribution of the remaining assets in the Emergency Response Fund will be reported to the community on this website.
Thank you for pulling together as a united Door County during the challenging times we faced over those two years. We are blessed to live in such a giving community in which we are so supportive of one another.
