The Northeast Wisconsin Audubon Society is one of over 500 local, non-profit chapters of the National Audubon Society. Our membership area covers seven counties and 55 communities throughout northeastern Wisconsin, including all of Door County. Our Board of Directors and members work to support conservation, research, education, advocacy and bird habitat protection in this region of the state. Current NEW Audubon projects include the Oneida Bird Monitoring Project, Tracking the Phantoms: A Red-Tailed Hawk Telemetry Study, and Project SOAR (Snowy Owl Airport Rescue).
