Door-Tran is dedicated to connecting people to transportation services that are affordable, available, and accessible. In our aging community, reliable transportation is essential to help residents remain independent. Door-Tran’s services include volunteer transportation, half-price travel and fuel vouchers, no-interest vehicle purchase and repair loans, vehicle repair grants, referrals, and personalized transportation planning. Door-Tran also provides in-person, phone, online, and print support through their Transportation Resource Guide, helping individuals and families find the best transportation solutions available.
Collaboration is at the heart of Door-Tran. They lead a 60-member Transportation Resource Improvement Partner (TRIP) committee and work with more than 40 dedicated volunteers to ensure transportation resources are shared efficiently and that more trips are provided across the county.
