Inspiring People to Give Back to Sustain the Community We Love.
The Door County Community Foundation was founded in 1999.
It combines the charitable gifts of many to provide leadership and financial leverage in addressing the current and future needs of Door County.

Differentiating the Community Foundation from other philanthropic options is a high degree of personalized service for its donors.  At its most basic, the Door County Community Foundation is a simpler, cheaper, more tax-efficient alternative to creating your own private foundation.

The Community Foundation routinely works with families (and their attorneys, accountants and investment managers) to design a gift plan that fits your unique financial situation and addresses the issues you care about most.

By giving through your own personal charitable Fund, you maximize both the tax benefit of your contribution as well as its impact by tapping into the Community Foundation's in-depth knowledge of local issues.

Please join us in inspiring people to give back to sustain the community we love.
