When the Door County Historical
Society wanted to restore the
Historical Village's blacksmith
shop to working condition, they
turned to the Clifford and Clara
Herlache Heritage Foundation, a
fund of the Door County
Community Foundation. Now
interpreters use traditional
blacksmith tools to bring history
alive.
